Carpet Replacement and Re-fitting Service Awarded

The Carpet Replacement and Re-fitting Service are offered to tenants as part of the Decommissioning process. It allows tenants the choice to decorate their new home and provides compensation for disturbance.  This tender is for the revised carpet fitting and removal compensation scheme. After signing a new tenancy agreement the tenant receives a Statutory Home Loss Payment and a contribution towards floor coverings.  The scheme is not intended to meet the full costs involved in carpeting homes and therefore most tenants use a proportion of their Home Loss Payment to make up the difference.
